SwimFesT Swim Race Series in partnership with DECATHLON

RESULTS FROM RACE 1 NOW UP - CLICK HERE.

SFT AND TRIATHLON RACING INC, in partnership with DECATHLON, are pleased to announce the SwimFesT Series 2012 at Lakeside Shopping
Centre in Essex. After a successful 2010/2011 race series which saw an event by event increase in competitor numbers and following competitor
feedback, we are further expanding SwimFesT 2012 to include a 10K olympic distance race as part of the race programme on 15 July ONLY.

The SwimFesT Series will take place on Sundays 27 May, 15 July and  16 September 2012 in Alexandra Lake at Europe's largest shopping complex
and will offer a unique programme of races ranging from 750 metres to the new 10km to suit all abilities plus children’s taster races and fun
team relays. These swim races will provide the perfect opportunity for competitive swimmers and triathletes to test themselves in open water
with chip timing and lap split times on a GPS accurate course, and for NOVICE OR CASUAL SWIMMERS TO TRY THIS FAST EMERGING SPORT at a quality
event in a safe environment.

SwimFest race series is in memory of our dear friend and open water helper Lou Parker who sadly passed away on the 19th July 2010. We are
raising awareness for the Myfanwy Townsend awareness fund.
